I've noticed some OS reporting behavior, for occupied unmet hours, that I suspect is incorrect. Was hoping to get some feedback to see if others have noticed this behavior or perhaps there is something I'm missing.

After running the first OS simulation, I checked on the number of unmet hours: image description

Not too bad on the occupied side, but always good to check any # of occupied unmet hours, so I wanted to see which zones were involved. Time to check the "Zone Conditions" section of the standard OS report: image description

However, it appears that the number of OS-reported unoccupied unmet hours is the same as the number of occupied unmet hours! The same issue is observed for both heating and cooling unmet hours.

Digging further into the E+ SQL output file, I observed that the # of occupied unmet hours does not equal the value reported in the OS report. As an example, below is a plot for Thermal Zone 1 - Conference: image description

As you can see, the number of occupied unmet cooling hours is 0 for the year. The OS report shows there are 658 unmet cooling hours. Thus my confusion...

@NickC, thanks, let me look into this. I fixed some things in the chart for our upcoming release, I want to make sure this has been addressed. I know I fixed the shifted cell color (it was one column off due to new occupied column.

@NickC, I just looked at a recent simulation on my machine using 10.6, and there were unique unmet hours for total and occupied hours. Can you try downloading that version, running the simulation and see if it works. You could also download a more current version from BCL.

Thanks @David Goldwasser ! I tried to locate 1.10.6 on the NREL Github page, but only saw the most current pre-release is 1.10.5. Can you direct a bit to the version you'd like me to download?
