Hello, I am getting the following inlet/outlet node errors trying to model HW baseboard. All I have done is dragging and dropping the equipment into the zone equipment area under thermal zones. Is there something else I need to do to connect it on the plant side? Thanks

Sounds like you're missing the step to connect the HW baseboard to the HW plant system.

Assuming that you've already created the HW plant system in the HVAC Systems tab of OpenStudio, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Thermal Zones tab
  2. Click on the HW Baseboard object you assigned to the thermal zone
  3. At the right, where you can edit input fields for the object. Click on the chain link icon.
  4. Check the box next to the name of you HW plant system. This actually connects the HW baseboard to the plant, assigning the hot water inlet and outlet nodes.

This same process applies to any other zone HVAC that uses chilled water as well.
