I'm making a test with a simple model with 1 thermal zone. The dimension is 4x4x4m (WxLxH). I'm assign walls with a thickeness of 0.1m. I'm getting in energyplus results a total area of 16m2. The total area shouldn't be 14.44 m2.

EnergyPlus doesn't account for wall thickness when calculating the zone floor area or building area. There are even some constructions where the thickness is not know and it couldn't calculate it. You can manually override the zone area and volume, but generally this won't have a significant impact on simulation results.
