Is there a Hybrid GSHP example file?

By "hybrid GSHP", I mean a ground-source heat pump system that has supplementary cooling and heating equipment (e.g., a fluid cooler and a boiler). The supplementary equipment allows use of smaller borefield. The smaller borefield can handle loads for most operating hours and the supplementary equipment operates only when the borefield runs out of capacity. I have searched the E+ example files and did not find one, so I hope I'm missing something, since it's a fairly common design strategy. Thanks in advance.

Just in case there's an answer out there... I have a lovely, severe-error-free IDF in which none of the condenser loop supply side components have any flow. I have a feeling that there is some control / setpoint manager magic that I don't know about which sequences the ground HX, fluid cooler and heating HX. All help will be appreciated.

Thanks, Chandan. I downloaded the paper and got a couple of ideas, but it appears that I'll need to build my own example file. Once I've figured it out, I'll share it here.

No problem. Please also take a look at PlateHeatExchanger.idf. Believe this is what you are looking for. Sorry for not mentioning it earlier as I just noticed this file. Sankar who wrote that paper is not with E+ development team anymore. Maybe @MJWitte or others can offer some insight if there is a better resource example file to look at for simulating hybrid gshp.

The only suggestion I have is to get the file working without the GHX, similar to example file 5ZoneWLHPPlantLoopTower.idf Then try adding in the GHX. Depending on the configuration you may need to switch to setpointbased operation in the plant loop.

Thanks, Mike. Already working on it.
