I'm using openstudio 1.10.0, when I try to assign new schedules (for example to lighting or equipments) to the space tab the software don't allow. I change to another tab when when I return I got the schedule for default. image description

Are the schedules in green? If so that means they are part of a load instance inherited from the space type assigned to that space. To change the schedule go to the Space Types tab.

On the attached image the "New People load instance" object was created directly in a space. It can be deleted or altered (including changing the schedule) the other loads are from the space type.

No, I got the problem in the new load that I create. It seems I only assign on/off schedules. Why can't I assign percentage schedules?

You should be able to add fractional schedules to internal loads. Are you just seeing issues with Luminaire objects, or other load types as well? Also do you have problems with any fractional schedule or just one in particular?

That is odd that you have a people schedule assigned to your lights and equipment objects, did you do that intentionally? OpenStudio can be picky about what types of schedules you can assign to your objects. Have you tried assigning a lights schedule from the Library to your lights? This could point out if you cannot assign any schedules or just schedules that you made (which might have issues with their types).

If lights are task lights, it could be ok to use fractional schedule from occupancy.

I wasn't able to reproduce this using Luminaries on my machine using 1.10.0. To confirm what type of schedule you are using, go to the schedule tab and select the schedule you are trying to drop onto the load instance. To the right of the name is "Schedule Type". Typically that should be fractional.
