How do you change an initial default construction "Office" to a "StripMall" to the whole building?

When you open SketchUp with the OpenStudio plugin installed, the default template is the Office template.

To start from a different template

  1. Use the "New File" icon in the OpenStudio toolbar (not SketchUp File>New).
  2. Choose one of the other templates from the list.

To get a construction from a different template into an existing model

  1. Open the model in the OpenStudio Application.
  2. File>Load Library>Choose the template whose construction set you want.
  3. Go to the Facility tab and click the Building in the left tree.
  4. In the Right Column, click Library>Construction Sets
  5. Drag the Construction Set into the "Default Construction Set" drop-zone for the building.
