gbxml export import setting
Hi, I tried to import gbxml sample from http://www.gbxml.org for checking openstudio capability but the result is still poor.There is a lot of faults. I am also not able to export shading element data from OS to gbXML file (check the data in xml file) - how to export and validate gbxml file with complex construction elements ? Should i use lastest version of TRANE Trace to get all gbxml import capabilities ? The lastest material from trane trace website was issued 5 years ago. Thank
Can you give more details on the issues you saw? Which gbXML file did you try to import and what elements were missing? It sounds like on export you are having issues exporting shading surfaces and constructions?
Yes, i reviewed the exported gbxml file from OS. it doesn't have any shading element although we created shading surface group objects by openstudio. Maybe i missed any step ? Thank
