Switch between versions of OpenStudio Sketchup plugin

asked 2015-09-16 06:44:43 -0600

I've installed OpenStudio 1.8.5 recently to try it out, and therefore when I launch sketchup, it's this version that gets loaded.

I'd like to revert the Sketchup plugin to 1.8.0 to start a new model. How can I register 1.8.0 instead of 1.8.5 as the default Sketchup plugin?

The easiest way to do this is to re-run the 1.8.0 OpenStudio installer.

You can also change the path to OpenStudio in 'C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2015\SketchUp\Plugins\OpenStudio\OpenStudio-config.rb'

Hey @macumber, do you know if the plug in path has changed locations since this response? I don't seem to be able to find OpenStudio-config.rb anywhere.
