Potential Node Connection Error leading to Orphaned ZoneHVAC object found

I am getting potential node connection error (Warning) for object ZONEHVAC:LOWTEMPERATURERADIANT:VARIABLEFLOW, which then I think leads to Orphaned ZoneHVAC object found error. This happens to all of the ZONEHVAC:LOWTEMPERATURERADIANT:VARIABLEFLOW objects. I have modeled hanging ceilings as radiant panels.

I have made following checks to make sure there are no typos in defining nodes;

  1. Searching for node names and making sure they have appeared at least twice (in component and branch).
  2. Checking that branch name also appears in branch list as well.
  3. Making sure that branch list also appears in Loop object.

By Looking at the my .bnd (branch node details) file, I can see these nodes are not referenced after definition, but can not find the reason.

Any ideas to solve this warnings and errors? Links to files below.

Have you checked that your branches also appear on the splitter and mixer? Also have you made sure that if your ceilings are heating and cooling, they have two sets of node names, two branches and need to be on the appropriate branchlists, splitters and mixers. Finally are your radiant panels on your equipment lists?

Those are all the checks I can think of off the top of my head that you haven't mentioned above.

Hi @Annie Marston: Yes, the branches do appear on the splitter and mixer. The ceiling are only used for heating so only one set of node name. But you know what, for some reason I have missed adding ZoneHVAC:EquipmentList, for LowTemperatureRadiant:VariableFlow. You are a star :)

Great! There is always something. Glad you fixed it.
