Hi,all, I am a new user of open studio. Recently I intend to get the cooling load for a typical residential building for Sydney climate, Australia. I want to know whether there is some place where I can download an existing typical building model template for specified place or climate under the local building code instead of creating the model on my own. I hope to get answer from you, thank you very much.

I know that this isn't quite what you are looking for but, have you looked at DOE's website? You can download typical residential models here and you can download weather file for Australia here (you need to convert them to the EPW weather file format using the WeatherConverter that comes with EnergyPlus). Then you could keep going by changing the thermal performance of the envelope.

Thank you very much for your answer. As your suggestion, i have searched the DOE's website and find two different types of building model evaluated in US.It is quite helpful for a new user.
