How do I temporarily disable OpenStudio SketchUp plugin?

When I'm trying to do non-OpenStudio work in SketchUp, I am frequently reminded to save my OpenStudio model even though I am not working on an OpenStudio model. Also, when I save my SketchUp file, I am prompted to save an OpenStudio model. How do I disable these behaviors so I can work in SketchUp without being interrupted by OpenStudio prompts?

You can enable or disable any plugin. See this post, look under extensions:

By default SketchUp has Auto-save enabled which will prompt the user to save the SKP file which will then trigger the OS Plugin to open the Save OpenStudio Model dialog. To disable this behavior in SketchUp 2015, uncheck the Auto-save box from:

Window > Preferences > General

This will fix half your problem, but I don't think the user can disable the Save OpenStudio Model dialog without altering the code.
