Error of Chiller:Electric:EIR
OpenStudio 3.11.0, EnergyPlus 25.2.0
After adding 'Chiller - Water Cooled' in my plant loop, I encountered an error during operation: SEVERE: Too many fields were found for the object: Chiller:Electric:EIR
Number expected=[30] Number found=[40]
What should i do? Is that my problem?
Reviewing the documentation for the object: Chiller:Electric:EIR I see 40 possible entry fields, but the example IDF shows only 30. Perhaps you need to check on or off the Chiller heat recovery?
Ran into the same issue - I replaced the chiller in the OpenStudio Application with a new chiller from the library, same error. File completes fine.
Ah, good point about the simulation finishing. I rarely work on severe errors unless they trigger fatal errors.
