I'm modelling a house that is elevated on brick piers (floor doesn't touch the ground). How do I model the brick piers so that the simulation will be able to show the heat transfer from the air outside to the floor inside?

I want the model to be able to measure this, as I have measured the indoor temperature of the real house, and found that the main reason for its poor performance is heat transfer coming from below.

Here is an image of my model and of the piers I'm trying to model. How should I model the piers and air gaps? (https://gyazo.com/eb31bb4721fb1192135...)link text

P.S This is my first time using this program so i may not understand some technical talk.

You just have to lift the house above zero z-coordinate. coordinate (x,y,z) = (0,0,10)
