Open Studio water heater direct query failing.
Hello,
My water heater direct query keeps failing in open studio. The simulation runs fine but it is not taking into account any of the water heater settings. The run simulation tab shows this at the end of the script when I run it:
The direct query failed: SELECT Value FROM ComponentSizes WHERE CompType = 'WaterHeater:Mixed' AND CompName = '600 GAL WATER HEATER - 600 KBTU/HR' AND Description = 'Design Size Use Side Design Flow Rate' AND Units = 'm3/s';
and when I look at the error log it shows: ===== Recurring Error Summary ===== *** The following recurring error messages occurred.
*** * Warning * Plant loop exceeding upper temperature limit, PlantLoop="SERVICE WATER LOOP" *** * ~~~ * This error occurred 100704 total times; *** * ~~~ * during Warmup 10372 times; *** * ~~~ * during Sizing 0 times. *** * ~~~ * Max=85.000000
I tried increasing the max temp to 100 Celsius and still the same error. I tried to increase it to 500 C and then it crashed since that is not a possible temperature.
If anyone has any ideas please I could use the help!

Also the setpoint schedule is set to 60 Celsius so it should not be going above 85....

@Brooke_Energy I ran your osm and like you said it simulates just fine
I dont have the script which you are referring to can you link it? Is the script a measure? That would be best
