image description The system I'm trying to model in OpenStudio is a DOAS unit with an enthalpy wheel and DX coil doing only dehumidification, and then sending dehumidified air to a regular rooftop unit for additional heating/cooling. I've represented the setup I'd like to use here but haven't been able to get it to run. The run just crashed without a proper error report so I can't get an indication of the actual issue. Has anyone had success modeling this type of system before? Thanks!

I can only speak to this topic as a designbuilder user. DB does not allow airloop to airloop connection. Further, DB does not allow multiple ADUs within a zone group. Thus, when we design an ERV to connect to the return of an RTU, I have to model the ERV functionality within the RTU.

The info you provide are not enough to troubleshoot your model, but your zones probably don't have humidifying AND dehumidying Setpoint schedule

Hi Petros, the zones do have humidifying and dehumidifying setpoints, it runs without issues when the dehumidification coil is on the main loop. It crashes when I move the dehumidification coil to the outside air branch. I'm just wondering if it's possible to have a cooling coil on the outside air branch or if it's not allowed by the program? Thanks.

Would you mind sharing your model because when I replicated this system the simulation procceded normally
