Hi guys, I am fairly new to the energy modeling world so please pardon me for extremely basic questions and doubts. My mechanical narrative states that for my gym and dining space, they are proposing an "RTU single zone VAV system with a 3000 cfm supply and return fan, modulating DX heat pump heating/cooling coil, modulating hot gas reheat (part of the DX heat pump system) and electric resistance heater sized for 40F temp increase at full air flow." From my basic knowledge I understand that I should start modeling this by using the DB's Unitary HP AirToAir template and I should set Dehumidifcation control type to 2-cool reheat in the AHU level. I have also added a SPM downstream of the AHU with a single zone max humidity average and have turned on humidistat control in the zone level. Can you tell me if my setup so far is correct and what other things I have to set for this to work accurately? And what outputs do I have to look at to see and understand how a system like this actually works?

Thank you and I really appreciate all the help!

Thank you, Aaron. I am using Energy Plus simulation too. Working on Design Builder v7.3.0.37
