Zone heating and cooling setpoint temperature schedules are linked to zones through ZoneControl:Thermostat and e.g. ThermostatSetpoint:DualSetpoint objects. They indeed inform a ZoneHVAC:IdealLoadsAirSystem, yet they are defined separately.

Here's an example of seasonal heating vs cooling setpoint schedules. Hint: you can always adjust the heating & cooling setpoints to mimic ZoneHVAC:IdealLoadsAirSystem seasonal heating & cooling availability schedules, e.g.:

  • increase cooling setpoint to 60°C during winter
  • lower heating setpoint down to 5°C during summer

One can't define COPs for ZoneHVAC:IdealLoadsAirSystem. The latter provides an estimation of what an HVAC system needs to supply - not what is consumes. This is well stated here.
