Hi,

I'd like to change the outside temperature to see the difference in HVAC sizing between different temperatures. I tried changing the temperatures in the “design day” section but it didn't change anything. Can anyone help me?

Did you change the temperatures in the weather file (epw or design day, .ddy)? Or just in the idf?

I didn't change anything in the weather file but only in the design day section in OpenStudio

I found a way to adapt outside temperature with the link below. I can change all temperature I want with this application in the EPW weather file. finally I can reach my goal

@OlivierC37 changing the EPW file will affect energy use results for the run period (usually an annual simulation) -- it will NOT affect HVAC capacity and/or flow rate sizing results because the OpenStudio Application uses the design day weather conditions defined on the Site tab for that.

In fact, changing the EPW file definitely affects HVAC capacity for the different models I use. I've tried it and it work, but changing design day doesn't change anything I don't know why, Do I have a problem with OpenStudio?

Can you share images of the output(s) you're using for HVAC capacity that are changing for different EPW files?

Also, can you upload your OSM and weather files to Dropbox, Google Drive, or a similar file sharing service and share URL(s) here for others to review?
