In some instances (see RefrigeratedWarehouse.idf) RefrigeratedWarehouse.idf in E+ example files), the Electricity:Building meter can include Refrigeration too, not just (fan, heater, defrost energy consumption for Refrigeration Zone Air Chillers) in addition to internal loads. It seems loads like lighting and equipment. In the case of RefrigeratedWarehouse.idf, Refrigeration is metered separately from HVAC energy (for space conditioning).energy.
