You can load different space types by choosing a different library under the "Load Library" option in the file menu. There are template for different building types based on the DOE reference buildings. You can customize those or make your own new space types as well. You have access to the same space types as well from the SketchUp plugin.
There is also a measure on BCL that adds in spaces types for your model for a given vintage, climate zone, and building type. These are also based on the DOE reference buildings.
