I am using Open Studio + Energy +.
My baseline model has the same outdoor air flow that local code requires and the proposed model has a bit more than that (and represents the HVAC project).
The proposed model has a Dedicated VRF system to outdoor air so it gets outdoor air, conditions it and supply to some rooms (thermal zones). The outdoor air system just operates from 8am to 6pm, that is when there will be people inside the building.
The baseline model has Package Rooftop VAV with PFP Boxes and Reheat system and has an Air Loop for Outdooar Air set in each HVAC system to represent that the local code requires.
Does that sounds right to you?
I am not sure if my model represent this "fans should be set to cycled to meed setback temperatures" as I did not understand what it means.
