To read results from E+ tabular reports, such as cost, you can use the CSV objects in jEPlus RVX. See instructions here. Since v2.0, you can specify the details in jEPlus' GUI, as shown in the screenshot below.
Remember to have the following in your IDF model, though:
OutputControl:Table:Style, CommaAndHTML;
