@davidwabel we have been working on a new "Create Typical Building from Model" measure for internal analysis projects. It has been paired with a measure to create simplified geometry representing different aspect ratios, number of stories, and building type mixes. The idea of the "Create Typical" measure is to take any user supplied geometry tagged with recognized space types, and create a full energy model, including HVAC. It has similarities to both the "Create DOE Prototype Building" measure and "Create Baseline Building" measure, but it is unique.
We hope to have both measures up on BCL soon with some basic documentation soon. They will still be actively developed measures that will continue to improve and grow in functionality over time. I'll also give a short presentation on them at the ASHRAE Building Performance Analysis Conference next month in Denver.
