Yes you will need to intersect the interior sub surfaces, unless you manually drew doors on both adjacent spaces, and then march surfaces; but I would reconsider why you are adding interior doors to your model. Unless there is a specific reason you may consider leaving them out unless they are needed for a specific purpose.
