Are you using the latest version of the Buildings library (5.0.1)? And what Modelica simulation tool are you using? There was such an error in previous versions if used with OpenModelica, but this has been corrected, see https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/issues/1013
To reproduce, we need to know what versions you are using and what example you are translating.
