@gokulram, thanks for pointing this out. This should not happen and I was able to confirm the behavior on my machine. I filed an issue for this.
We will look into the cause, but in the mean time, while it isn't pretty, you can make a zip of your project before re-opening to maintain the simulation results from the datapoints. This still won't help with the results tab, but will allow you to maintain the raw simulation file. You can also go roll back to PAT 1.13 but that wouldn't work if you needed newer features in OpenStudio 1.14.0
