I am also beginner in simulation (thermal buildings, Type 56) and I have to say I am not happy with the the tutorials available for TRNSYS. And I was seraching around a lot and could fnot ind easy understandable material. The official tutorials are writing in a way that programmers can understand it but for beginners in energy simulation it is difficult. For type 56 I found 2 good video tutorials in spanisch which are quiet comprehensive: Simulación energética de edificios
