For the proposed building design, where no heating or cooling systems exist or have been specified, the heating or cooling systems shall be identical to the systems modelled in the baseline building design. There is an exception for fan control where heating and/or cooling system simulated only to meet Appendix G requirements fans may be modeled to cycle on and off to meet heating and cooling loads during ALL hours

For the proposed building design, where no heating or cooling systems exist or have been specified, the heating or cooling systems shall be assumed to be electric and the system characteristics shall be identical to the systems modelled in the baseline building design. design (Table G3.1 - 10. HVAC Systems).

There is an exception (Table G3.1 - 4. Schedules) for fan control where fans that provide outdoor air for ventilation shall run continuously during occupied hours and cycle otherwise. Where no heating and/or cooling system is to be installed and the system is simulated only to meet Appendix G requirements requirements, fans may be modeled to cycle on and off to meet heating and cooling loads during ALL hours
