Revision history [back]

I am not sure about E+ for BIPV/T, however I know that TRNSYS also offers a good range of components to model BIPVT systems. I used Type 567 in TRNSYS using the TESS extension package 'Electrical Library'. The BIPVT model integrates well with a Type 56 building model which you generate using Google Sketchup and TRNSYS-3D for the CAD design of the building structure, and TRNBUILD for specifying construction materials and operation schedules like occupancy, ventilation, infiltration, and HVAC modes. I recently completed a Masters degree on this topic and can offer advice if you have any specific questions. You can email me on alastair.mcdowell@energyae.com.
