I've created an IRC channel on freenode (where you already have #ruby and #python for example): here's a direct link to try it out using a web browser: #UnmetHours, or an irc link: irc://irc.freenode.net/unmethours
On people's suggestion, here's a Slack as well: https://unmethours.slack.com/signup.
Apparently Slack is more user friendl, I have to agree IRC is a bit plain and can feel outdated.
We'll see what people start to use more and kill the other.
