None of our MA energy code compliance models have relied exclusively on the prescriptive derating values. MA allows projects to use pre-solved Psi values from a third party source if the assembly configuration is the same, and those are generally much better than the prescriptive allowances. In most cases, some level of THERM modeling has been incorporated to quantify assembly specific Psi values at significant junctures.
