The EnergyPlus models that are included with the Modelica Buildings Library should all work. I am not familiar about this crash. If you can reproduce it, please report it with details for how to reproduce it on the Modelica Buildings Library github page. Please also check the log files and run the model in debug mode to see at what place the error occurs.
