More and more many software tools are able to produce IDF or IFC files but there is no way (or I don’t know it) how to import IFC or IDF files. IDF import option in Openstudio exists but is limited to geometry, constructions, load definitions, schedules cannot usually be imported. ¿Should be possible to improve this option? For IFC files it will great if I will be possible to import these kind of files

EP3 - a new user-interface for EnergyPlus - can import complete IDF files, including geometry, schedules, internal loads, and complete HVAC systems. (https://ep3.solutions)

It looks like in the latest OpenStudio Application (v1.9.0), you can import IFC files -- see below.

I haven't tested this to confirm what will be imported from IFC files, but from the OpenStudio Coalition's list of Current Features, it looks like just geometry.
