can we draw a hip roof using floorplan?

Hi I am trying to model a building with hip roof in it, Can we draw hip roof using openstudio?

Yes you should be able to specify surface vertexes in the IDF so that a hip roof is being modeled. I don't know how you would do this exactly with floorplan but E+ can definitely model hip roofs.

Look up BuildingSurface:Detailed and look at the XYZ vertex coordinates.
