Openstudio 2.9.0 application on Windows; the file opens OK. Appears normal. Click on Thermalzone (TZ) tab and the application crashes with no error report. Same file, go to Measures tab, drag a measure "Set Output Table to IP Units" into the EnergyPlus Measures area, and OS crashes, this time giving the error report in attached screenshot: image description

This OSM file was originally generated in v2.7.2 format by CBECC-COM; initially it failed to open in OS because a CBECC-created object called ZoneHVAC:EquipmentList had too many arguments. I deleted the extra arguments. Then OS succeeded in opening the file. However it crashes like this. None of my other files crash OS, in the same situation.

Hi @Dan Johnson, does your model happen to have any HeatPumpWaterToWater objects in it? If so, you might be experiencing this recursion error, which should be v3.0. My workaround was to make sure the Companion Cooling/Heating Heat Pump Namefields do not reference each other. https://github.com/NREL/OpenStudio/is...
