Vegetated Roof in OS 1.5.2

This pertains to creating an OS construction. I am trying to use the vegetated roof material to model a landscaped rooftop. I can create the material but when applied to the construction layer, it won't stick to the vertical layer bar. Any suggestion to make it stick?

We have a bug filed for this. I'll see if I can get an update on status.

It doesn't look like this is planned to be fixed for 1.6.0 due out in January, but keep an eye on the link above to see if any activity happens for it.
