I have one unit of split system ac(inverter type), since there's no specific for that system in e+, could i do VRF as alternative for it like modifying the VRF system of having 1 terminal supplying 1 thermal zone?

Modifying the VRF system to make it single refrigerant flow, having 1 terminal supplying single zone, means only 1 compressor? it could violate the law of VRF?

There are probably multiple approaches that could be done in EnergyPlus depending on the controls and data you want to describe. I personally would probably just use AirLoopHVAC:UnitarySystem. It has a lot of flexibility.
