Major operative temperature difference between EP 2023.2 and 2025.2
I just got back to EnergyPlus and intended to continue research based on an earlier model I had already used, so just before I made more tests, i ran the exact same model (but uptaded using EP tools) on the newer version and got more than 1000 hours of termal discomfort less than the model ran in the 2023.2 version, using the exact same weather file.
One thing I noticed was that, because I have window operation control set to be Ashrae55 based, the newer version asks that he people object to also have Thermal Comfort Model set to Ashrae55, bt that shouldn't chage the results, i think...
Am I doing something wrong? Or there's a change or fix on this newer version that could explain it?
@Emanuela can you please edit your post to include screenshots of the results you're referring to? Also, uploading IDFs to Dropbox or a similar file sharing service and then posting the URL for others to download would be helpful.
