EV behaviour for different timestep lengths

Hi,

I generated a building model from the ResStock code by doing this : openstudio path/to/openstudio.exe /path/to/run_analysis.rb -y -u upgrade_name -m -i bldg_id

I got the .idf energy model and the in.schedules.csv file associated. I ran for the 15min timestep and everything worked well. However, when I change the timestep to 1 hour, the discharging evolution changes (by interpolation with energyplus tool), The structure described here - https://github.com/NREL/OpenStudio-HP... - is no longer present.

Is there a way to keep the discharging evolution relevant for the one hour timestep ? When I generate the building model and the in.schedules.csv file, is it possible to also have some schedules but with a different timestep for the discharging values ? I also saw that the interpolation method can be set only on Yes or No... and I think the interpolation is not relevant here.

I am joining the picture of the described discharging evolution for 15min timestep and 1hour timestep for the first day of my simulation :

If I understand correctly, you changed the IDF timestep to hourly but used the same 15-min stochastic schedule CSV. If you want to run an hourly simulation, it'd be better to re-generate the ResStock model using an hourly timestep (it can be changed here for example) so that the stochastic schedule CSV is also regenerated hourly.
