Using OpenStudio ver. 1.3.1 with Sketchup Plugin ver. 1.7.0 and my model has equipment and several other items which were are not active in "My Model"
Looking for assistance on this issue of model items being added to the RUN and causing several warnings and ultimately causing the model to fail with out a successful RUN. I want to run the model using Thermostat Schedules, Thermal Zones, and use Ideal Air Loads in order to first size the loads...
First: Is there a way to easily remove equipment that might show up in the "My Model" tab, however is not active within the model?
Items that are not supposed to be in the model are generally Equipment that is not active within the "My Model" tab when viewing the Thermal Zones. Could this equipment also be in a schedule (which is also not supposed to be in the model) if viewing the Schedules, Loads, Space Types, and/or Spaces tabs? I do have items checked in the Output Variables tab - could this affect how the software interprets the ghost equipment and/or Schedules?
FYI the model I have been working on is a work in progress and has been through several iterations. I have used the Diagnositic Script to clean up the model and have re-initiated the geometry from scratch more than once. I have Windows 10 on the terminal in question that is running the versions stated. Should I consider an upgrade to help with this problem or is this a user fix?
Thank you for any assistance in the matter!
HVAC Systems tab does not have any active systems.
