Fans - LEED reports

Hi everybody,

I’m currently working on a small office building (820 m²) simulation for a LEED project. When I generate the automatic LEED report in DesignBuilder, under the Performance tab I get a warning that the hours of operation for fans exceed 4,000 hours/year.

Is this something typical, or should I be concerned? What can I do about it?

The system is based on ASHRAE Zone 6 – System 3 (PSZ-AC), and I used the default ASHRAE schedules (HVAC Availability Schedule for HVAC operation and HVAC Night Cycle Availability for the night cycle).
