dehumidification cooling energy + air reheating energy in designbuilder simple hvac
Hello, I am modelling a theater building with mechanical ventilation in designbuilder. The hvac system of the building does have a cooling unit and dehumidification. I know that the dehumidification causes a demand of extra cooling energy as well as a demand of heating energy for reheating the air after dehumidification, but I am unsure how designbuilder handles these energy demands. In the model, I checked humidification on and set it to humidistat for all zones that have cooling. Because I am using simple hvac, the energy demands caused by the dehumidification are not shown in detail. Does designbuilder include the energy demands for dehumidification in the heating and cooling energy shown in the fuel breakdown?
